Number 19

An absolute classic of French streets. These house numbers date from the 1960s and were enamelled by hand. As such no two are the same and on some the white enamelling is a little wobbly! But this just goes to show that they were not mass produced by machines. These are getting harder to find as of course it is cheaper to make plastic or painted number plates. Limited stock remains. The plates are enamel with white numbers on a dark blue background. The border either abuts the 4 fixing holes or there is a slight gap between the two. Dimensions: 15cm x 10cm
